The RPK entered service in 1959 as a more powerful firearm, developed from the AKM. The RPK differs from the AKM in a number of design improvements: the barrel is lengthened to increase muzzle velocity; the capacity of the sector magazine is increased to improve the combat rate of fire; the machine gun is outfitted with folding bipod to stabilize it during fire; the sight is outfitted with sliding windage mechanism to improve fire accuracy; the machine gun butt is identical to the Degtyarev RPD 44 machine gun butt. The machine gun intended for airborne troops had a folding butt.

The Colt M203 Grenade Launcher is a lightweight single shot breech loaded 40mm weapon designed especially for attachment to the M16A2 Rifle and M4 Carbine.

Airborne troops model, the fore grip, handguard and magazine are made from plastic material.

The MP5K is the ultimate close quarters weapon. At 4.4 pounds and less than 13 inches long, the MP5K is easily concealed and carried. All MP5Ks can be fitted with an optional folding buttstock. The MP5K can also be fired from inside a specially designed briefcase.

AK-105 Small-Size Assault Rifle. This assault rifle features a 30-round magazine, plastic folding butt, mount on the receiver for night sights, plastic fore grip, handguard and pistol grip.

The Kalashnikov sub-machinegun is the most modern, reliable, and effective model of individual combat weapons. The model embodies the most essential combat properties inherent to the whole base complex of Kalashnikov submachine guns. For hand-to-hand combat the AK74M is provided with a detachable knife-bayonet.

The G3 rifle was the first HK firearm developed using the delayed blowback roller-locked operation common to most current Heckler and Koch submachine guns, rifles, and machine guns. The G3 became the standard assault rifle of the German Bundeswehr in 1959 and is still used by more than fifty nations.

AK-103 Assault Rifle. This assault rifle features a 30-round magazine, plastic folding butt, mount for night sights, plastic fore grip, hand guard and pistol grip.

The M60 E3 is a modified version of the standard, crew-served M60 machine gun in use by forces throughout the Department of Defense. Today the E3 is used exclusively by US Navy Special Warfare forces, primarily by the Navy SEALs (though the Special Boat Units armorers are also proficient in this weapon). This weapon will soon be phased out in favor of the SAW. This weapon, however, will not disappear from the world of low intensity conflict, as nearly 1,000 E3's were transferred to Colombia during the 1990's.

1947 Base model for all AK's entered service. This submachine gun have been manufactured up to 1959. In several countries it is being manufactured modernized to some extent nowadays.
